Procrastinating the decision of whether to throw something out always comes back to haunt me. In the moment, I reason that if there's a chance I'll want to use it later, then I may as well keep it. But, I'd like to break this habit and get better at throwing things away as I go along, instead of waiting to sift through everything when I'm about to move. It's amazing how many things I've kept that I never ended up using again. If I've gone this long without needing it, then I can just buy it again if the need arises.
Going forward, I'm going to try to throw things out that I wouldn't be willing to ship. Answering this simple question should make deciding whether to keep things much simpler and help me stick to things of higher quality.
