I'm considering whether to start wearing a uniform. I don't enjoy choosing what I wear in the morning – it feels like a waste of time. Given we have a finite ability to make decisions each day, I'd rather use my limited executive function to work on a project I care about. Since my fashion would stay the same, I'd be able to bulk order clothing instead of shopping each season. This would free up time to do things that I enjoy, but typically have a hard time fitting in.
In addition to the psychological benefits, it's a good opportunity to brand myself as the guy who wears a particular outfit. Hopefully, it would stand out a little and be a good conversation starter like my dad wearing bolo ties.
Now for the hard part, I need to pick my uniform.
