I sat in bed this morning, reflecting on today being my last first day of school. I was excited to see who was going to be in my classes and to see where everyone decided to sit, now that we've graduated to free seating. Out of habit, I sat in the same seat that I had been assigned to last year.
Having had all of my classes with the same people last year, I started to be able to guess how they would react to different types of cases. While there are mainly new faces now, even after just one day, I've started to piece together likely comments and opinions. It's interesting to see how people take on slightly different personas in class, having known some of them from other contexts.
I'm curious to see if my guesses hold up.
