Healthy homemade "ice cream"

I love ice cream, but I also know that it's unhealthy. My cousins have come up with a way to make eating "ice cream" healthy and fun for their young kids. Instead of having dairy based ice cream, they make it with bananas. Their kids love that they get to pick out which frozen fruit to add to their personal servings and that they get to make it themselves.

Unlike other forms of homemade ice cream, there's almost no need for setup or cleanup and the fruits of your labor are ready instantly. The only thing you need to do to prepare is keep enough bananas frozen ahead of time. So, even though I'll still want my fix of dairy based ice cream every once in a while, this seems like a good alternative to add as a regular dessert.
