Health is surprisingly difficult to define. And often, we take it for granted until we no longer have it. Health is isn't something you can buy; many would if they could. It's fragile and can change quickly. Even if you're responsible and do everything by the book, you can still get cancer or another life-changing condition / disease. It isn't fair.
Too many of my friends have lost parents and friends this year to unexpected health issues. Maybe naively, I always assumed that this wouldn't happen until we were older. This has been a harsh reminder that we need to be grateful for our health while we still have it because our luck may run out. A stroke, cancer, or heart attack can strike at any time.
Spend time with people that matter to you. Life is too short not to.
