Being considerate of users' time

I am amazed at how much more I enjoy watching TV shows on Netflix with no advertisements compared to broadcast, cable, or Hulu. Time is our most valuable commodity. We can never get it back. Most websites assume that we're willing to trade time, engaging with advertising, for free service. Like everyone else, I'm initially attracted by these free offerings. But, I'm beginning to wonder whether I'd prefer to pay companies so they'd focus more on being considerate of my time.

For example, AdWords allows us to use Google search for free. This used to mean there'd be one or two sponsored links, but now it's common for an entire screen of mobile search results to be sponsored links, meaning it takes longer to access the information I want. Google/YouTube, would you ever consider letting me pay for no ads?
