Pay attention to procrastination habits
The cliche "do what you love" intuitively makes sense, but is hard to put into action. While I haven't found "my calling" yet, my best guess is that I should pay attention to my procrastination habits. After all, these are things that I'm choosing to do instead of work I know I have to do. So, in theory, I must be intrinsically motivated to explore these curiosities at least to some degree.
Instead of fighting the urge to procrastinate, take a chance and try to turn one of your avocations into a vocation. Granted not all forms of procrastination are productive, but many are. For example, a series of stick figure comics in old notebooks can build a cult following. So, be sure to take some time and think about how you might be able to commercialize your procrastination habits.
